Hayley Dodge, Client Engagement Specialist, Guardian Pharmacy Services
Dodge works as an events and client engagement professional for Guardian Pharmacy, bringing ideas to life and turning a good time for a client into business gained or retained for a company. She is a multi-talented professional with a demonstrated history of successfully working in many different environments while wearing many hats during each chapter. Between walking through Iowa cornfields pulling tassels off cornstalks at 14, and helping drive strategies to keep long-term care residents safe during a global pandemic, Dodge has found herself selling tickets to fans and businesses for the Philadelphia 76ers and wedding dresses to brides-to-be. Through all her robust experience, Dodge finds herself most passionate about how she can assist in making an idea come to life through event planning, vendor management, and sales efforts. And when she’s not working, you can find Dodge outside with her Bernese Mountain Dog or at her local yoga studio.
Jennifer Flaherty, National Business Development Manager, BluSky Restoration Contractors
Flaherty has over 8 years’ experience managing national accounts and early on went to nursing school, where she spent her first semester of nursing clinicals working in an assisted living community and from there spent 3 more semesters working on an orthopedic floor and other med-surg units in a large WI hospital. At BluSky Restoration, Flaherty works with some of the largest national senior living management companies and group purchasing organizations to help with senior living emergency response for catastrophic events (tornados, floods, windstorms, fires), water damage, environmental hazards, and roofing replacement needs. BluSky Restoration Contractors owns and operates over 60 office locations nationwide and is a full-service restoration company.
Troy Griffiths, Head of Senior Care North America, Vigil Health Solutions
Griffiths has worked in the senior living technology sector for over 24 years. He was one of the founding leaders of Vigil in 1998. Initially as CFO, then COO and for the last 18 years President and CEO, he has been committed to finding ways to provide purpose-built technology to the senior living industry. Surrounded by a team of dedicated, caring, and smart innovators, Griffiths has been able to constantly drive improvements and major developments in the company’s technology. He understands the desire for senior living developers and operators to adopt innovative technology while under tight budgets and operational deliverables. Olya Iakomi, Regional Marketing, Yardi
Iakomi dedicated her early marketing career to the security manufacturing industry. She represented her company at trade shows and became a liaison to integrators and distributers in addition of having the primary focus to grow the company brand. After a relocation from east to west coast, she took her similar experience to the real estate tech industry and is committed to marketing and event planning for the largest property management software company, Yardi Systems. Iakomi graduated from La Salle University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and International Business.
Rich Kortum, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, KARE
Kortum has more than 16 years of leadership experience spanning across the healthcare continuum. As a visionary in the post-acute and senior living domains, Kortum presently holds the position of Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at KARE, which is the leading solution to solve the labor shortage in senior care. Prior to KARE Kortum spent almost 14 years at NRC Health, where he was instrumental in spearheading the development and management of strategic business partnerships. Kortum actively supports several state and national senior care associations by serving on multiple committees that are dedicated to addressing workforce challenges, while also helping advocate and promote the high quality of care that is being provided across the senior care continuum.
Pam Larsen, Senior Field Marketing Manager, connectRN
Larsen leads the Field Marketing team at connectRN, where she oversees the conference and trade show strategy, creative development, and activation for 100+ events per year. Larsen plays an integral role in bridging the gap between marketing and sales to drive lead generation and growth. Previously she led fundraising and alumni relations events at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Larsen studied Architectural History at Boston University and is passionate about designing thoughtful spaces and memorable experiences.
Kendra Matheson, Senior Product Manager, Assisted Living Health Plan | Senior Community Care, Optum
Matheson has been with Optum for over 8 years. Matheson is a Senior Product Manager at Optum working on the continued development of the UnitedHealthcare Assisted Living Plan. Matheson enjoys absorbing new information about the senior living industry and enhancing the UnitedHealthcare Assisted Living Plan to meet the industry needs. Matheson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management and Business Communication from the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, MN).
